Sands Point Consulting LLC, (referred to as the “Company”, “us” or “we” throughout this Privacy Policy) is committed to preserving the privacy rights of all visitors to www.dranitasands.com (the “Website”). This Privacy Policy provides details of the way in which we process personal data in line with our obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (No. 2016/679) (“GDPR”), the Data Protection Act 2018 and any other laws which apply to the Company in relation to the Processing of Personal Data (collectively referred to as “Data Protection Laws”).

  • Website usage information - Information about your use of our site including details of your visits such as pages viewed and the resources that you access.   • Contact information - When you sign up for the “wisdom newsletter”, download Dr. Anita Sands’ headshot or download from the “wisdom card collection” you will be required to provide an email address. Your email address will be stored for the purpose of adding to the mailing list subject to you consenting to such communications. 

PURPOSE OF PROCESSING 

We will act as a Controller in respect of Personal Data that we collect from you to provide our services and access to our website to you. In addition to this we may use the information for one or more of the following purposes:

  • To provide information to you that you request from us via the “wisdom newsletter” or “wisdom card collection” mailing list;

  • To provide information to you relating to the publication of Dr. Anita Sands book, marketing thereof, new articles, or upcoming speaking events;

  • To inform you of any changes to our website.

We process your personal data on the basis of that you have given consent in line with Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (No 2016/679) (“GDPR”).

We do not share any personally identifying data with third parties and will not disclose your Personal Data to any other party except where we are legally required by law to do so.

We will keep Personal Data only for as long as the retention of such Personal Data is deemed necessary for the purposes for which that Personal Data are processed (as described in this Privacy Policy).

Where we provide a link it does not mean that we have any control over the linked website or its privacy policy or that we endorse, or approve that site’s policy towards visitor privacy. DATA SECURITY AND DATA BREACH

The GDPR obliges Data Controllers to notify the Data Protection Commission and affected data subjects in the case of certain types of Personal Data security breaches. Any data breaches identified in respect of Personal Data controlled by the Company will be dealt with in accordance with Data Protection Law.
